Back in October of 2011 when Google Panda 2.5.2 hit almost every site I owned, I fell in the search engines. Rankings and traffic plummeted – not good. Anyway I’ve gone through just about every strategy imaginable.
The idea wasn’t just to come up with a strategy for ranking in the search engines. As to be honest – any idiot with half a brain can do that. The idea was to come up with a profitable niche site strategy. In order to make money from a niche site – I’d have to find a niche, keyword, build a site, add content and promote it. (Promote meaning backlinks)
And… I’d have to come up with a strategy for doing all of the above in a single day for less than the cost of a family night out at a burger joint. (Around $75)
I ran into countless dilemmas. First was the time – how the heck could I get all that done in a day? I couldn’t – I had to outsource and that took me to the second dilemma: price.
To cut a long, tedious and rather boring story short; I could get everything done but I needed to build a constant flow of backlinks to my sites in 1 day. I didn’t want my sites to go up and suddenly receive a massive influx of one-time links. I’ve tried that – you get top rankings for a few weeks and slowly go down.
To cut a very long story short – I started using blog networks. I found blog networks to be the most effective link building tools/services out there. Blog networks all you to drip feed backlinks to your sites over weeks or even months.
